“Is This Hope?” is a group exhibition of a mixture of 16 emerging and unknown artists from around the world. It asks us a question about the curation and experience of an international exhibition. Is an exhibition like this important in times of division, war, and darkness? If it isn’t, why isn’t it?

Kato Wong Gallery released an open call earlier this year on the theme of communication. Now, they are inundated by artists from around the world, and what emerged from the curation were themes of diversity, politics, and unity.

Featuring Asia Nowicki, Aljohara Jeje, Emma Boutet, Georgina McNamara, Roberto Grosso, Tina Bopiah, Parisa Feyzollahi, Fernanda Liberti, Mpumelelo Buthelezi, Nilik Khlmani, Nima Eghbali, Stevi McNeill,  Mahziyar Mahdip, Jo Schemer, Maryam Sadat Ahmadi, Zahra Khadem Shariat.

This is a unique show of diverse, dedicated artists from around the world, spanning photography, painting, and poetry.

The exhibition opens on Friday 24th June at 18.00 UK time. All are warmly welcomed to attend the opening event free online. Tickets are available HERE.
