Two years following the release of their critically acclaimed self-titled debut, Greeks Night Resident are back with their unique and catchy blend of hard-rock, metal, doom, and gothic-rock.
Recorded, mixed, and produced by bass player/vocalist John Tsiakopoulos at Mothstudio Productions, Athens, and mastered by Mario Methenitis at Loud Monster Mastering, this new album is titled “Darkness Is My Home” and is due out on May 21st.
Displaying a stronger maturity and confidence in the songwriting, the lyrics, and the overall production, this new effort features nine new tracks that merge the vibrant energy of hard-rock with the psych-pop of 80’s prog and the epic grandeur of doom-metal. The band’s formidable sense of melody and song construction is what makes this musical journey so unique and mesmerizing, echoing the best elements of bands like Ghost, Blue Oyster Cult, and Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats.
“Darkness Is My Home” is their most fully realized musical statement yet, and hopefully will grant Night Resident the opportunity to their melodic and lively rock anthems in some grand arenas worldwide. Pre-orders are now available here.
