Rock la Mureș returns in 2026 with a new edition that once again claims its role as a free space for music lived without compromise. Between July 10 -11, 2026, at Periam Port, Timiș County, the festival opens its gates for its 14th edition, unveiling the first wave of artists set to take the stage.

The opening chapter of the line-up sketches an intense sonic map, built around influential voices from the international scene. Rat Boy (UK), one of the most impactful projects in contemporary British indie, brings a charged mix of attitude and vulnerability. Acidez (Mexico), a landmark name in Latin American hardcore punk, delivers a brutal sound and an unfiltered message. Native James (UK) cuts across nu metal, rap and punk with an unmistakable force, while Ductape (Turkey) completes the picture with tense, hypnotic post-punk, crafted for nights that refuse quiet.

They are joined by two Romanian acts selected not for convenience, but for impact. Fittonia, one of the most dynamic recent appearances in the metalcore scene, and Pârnaie, an authentic punk project already known for its explosive live energy, round out a first wave that speaks of diversity, courage and artistic coherence.

Earlybird passes, available at the promotional price of 125 RON, can be purchased online via iabilet.ro, at this link.

For over 20 years, Rock la Mureș has been more than a festival, it has been a community where music is experienced directly, in a natural setting that turns Periam Port into a summer refuge. The 2026 edition continues in this spirit, with a line-up built around live energy and sonic diversity.

Rat Boy is the British project initiated by Jordan Cardy, a name that has become emblematic of the new UK indie wave. Their debut album, “Scum”, reached No. 15 in the UK Albums Chart, with several tracks aired on BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 6 and Radio X, earning recognition from publications such as NME. The band was featured in BBC Sound of 2016 and MTV Brand New, shared the stage with Liam Gallagher in 2017, and later performed at major festivals including Glastonbury, Reading & Leeds, and Coachella. Their appearance at Rock la Mureș promises an intense and memorable show.

Acidez, a hardcore punk / street punk band from Guadalajara, Mexico, active since 2003, is known for its brutal sound, thrash influences and direct social messages, summed up by their motto: “In Punk We Thrash.” The band has become a reference point on the international punk scene, with appearances at festivals such as Obscene Extreme, Mighty Sounds, Rock al Parque and Vive Le Punk. Their shows are raw energy explosions, impossible to ignore.

Ductape, the post-punk duo from Istanbul, delivers a tense, cinematic sound built on heavy basslines and sharp guitars. Their music explores intense emotional territories and pushes the genre beyond convention, resulting in electrifying live performances that merge melancholy with the raw force of contemporary post-punk.

Native James is an alternative rap artist from Ipswich who defies genre boundaries, blending hip-hop, grime, punk, rock and metal into a project with a strong, magnetic identity. Regarded as one of the most compelling figures in the modern UK nu metal-adjacent scene, Native James stands out through energy, message and stage presence.

Fittonia has quickly established itself as one of the most respected names in Romanian metalcore, with a bold sound and lyrics focused on self-reflection, trauma and exhaustion. Winners of the grand prize at Posada Festival and one of the few Romanian bands to perform at Rockstadt Extreme Fest, Fittonia are recognized for having one of the strongest live performances on the local scene in recent years.

Pârnaie represents the Romanian punk scene through a direct, rebellious and highly energetic sound. With two albums released, “Prima abatere” and “Liberi”, and a series of sold-out shows, the band has emerged as a key voice of the local underground.

Beyond concerts, the 4th edition of the festival will also feature workshops, creative spaces, chill-out areas and outdoor activities, alongside initiatives promoting a healthy lifestyle, prevention and awareness campaigns, environmental projects and encounters that leave something behind — ideas, dialogue, a sense of well-being. Not as a trend, but as a natural extension of a festival whose DNA grows organically together with its community.

Rock la Mureș continues its mission: great music, real people, and an experience that lasts.
