Michel Fernandez was born in 1960 and emerged from the free jazz movement, incorporating fusion elements with African music. He has released numerous albums under the labels Rdc Records, Steeple Chase, Cristal Records, and Futura Marge.

For half a century, he has been a prominent figure in jazz. With the skilled musicians of the Magnetic Orchestra—François Gallix on double bass, Nicolas Serret on drums, and Benoît Thévenot on piano—he found the perfect rhythm to create a dynamic quartet. In this ensemble, his saxophone soars and blends beautifully, achieving a total symbiosis that embodies the essence of the best jazz combos.
