Once you open the door to Lucian Harbădă‘s imaginary world, it’s very difficult to turn back. He recently published a series of new collages that continue to offer a new and unusual perspective on life and reality. Whilst his past works seemed to be surrounded by the vast emptiness of space, the recent ones are more into portraying women, and it’s almost a literal interpretation of what all art is. With an eye for minimalism and OCD perfectionism, Lucian collages simply form a window into other worlds, moments and stories.
‘I prefer concentrating the visual in the center of the work, surrounded by the emptiness of black.’
