Martin Neagoe is a Romanian photographer based in Bucharest. Aesthetically tying together his portraits and the occasional landscape in his personal work is a use of nostalgic tonality, nature and soft, romantic lighting. Combined, these qualities give his shots a dreamy atmosphere. When we got in touch to ask him about his story, Martin explained: “Let me start by saying a little about my journey towards this passion. Being a man of nature, I often go out in nature through our dear mountains <<visually>> photographing the beauties of this country. I finally said that it is necessary to take a camera with me, so I can immortalize everything that my eyes perceive. When it comes to my gear, there are two essential cameras for my work : a digital camera – fujifilm xpro2, and an analog film camera Mamyia 67.”

My style is still in the process of being defined, I cannot say that I found it yet. I think that the photographic style always change. Life itself is not constant, so we can never be the same. We as individuals go through the axis of time, and our experiences play an important role in shaping who we are.
