The portfolio of emerging Cluj-based photographer Paula Gradinaru combines portraiture, still life, street and concert photography; consolidating her positions as a rising Romanian artist. Paula’s work is multifaceted and difficult to describe. She gives meditative attention to the elements of light and color, elaborating textural contrast through shadow, light and tone.

What stood out for me in the first place was the perfect balance between light-filled compositions and romance, and while you will explore her Instagram you’ll dive into her fantasy world.

Her images have a dreamy and melancholic feel to it while she also experiments with surreal settings and playful elements.
