After a sensational eighth edition in Romania, UNTOLD Festival now sets its sights on the Middle East’s first international event at Expo City Dubai next February. To scale it up and show the world that this is something to watch, respectively die for, they celebrated the news with Armin van Buuren, a fitting artist considering he has a long and deep history with the festival. The Burj Khalifa set broke two records.

The first of those is for the highest performance on the world’s tallest building, where Armin was situated on the 149th floor, and the second for the largest LED screen ever used in a show, taking over the stretch of the building. Already breaking records before it has even begun its inaugural edition, UNTOLD Dubai is proving that it’s going to be one of the biggest festivals out there.

The UNTOLD team used no less than 18 cameras to capture the moments. Ten cameras were dedicated to capturing the glittering Burj Khalifa in all its grandeur, and eight were used for dramatic desert shots to showcase the mesmerizing landscape. All the while, four advanced drones soared over 830 meters in the air, providing viewers with a majestic view of this mind-blowing show.

Taking place in February 2024, a huge line-up of international stars and a jaw-dropping production are yet to be revealed, so be sure to visit untold.com/dubai to register for early-bird tickets and exclusive offers.
