Since 2013 ELECTRIC CASTLE has developed an enviable reputation for curating killer lineups of the finest rock, indie, hip hop, techno, and drum and bass music talent.

On the past ELECTRIC CASTLE editions, the festival had confirmed names such as Florence + the Machine, Thirty Seconds to Mars, The Prodigy, Nils Frahm, Skrillex, Bring me the Horizon, Deadmau5, alt-J, Franz Ferdinand, Fatboy Slim, Sigur Ros, Bastille, Rudimental, Thievery Corporation, Die Antwoord and many other artists that performed on one of its ten stages.

The classic version of ELECTRIC CASTLE will take place on 13-17 July 2022. Twenty One Pilots, Gorillaz, and Deftones have been already reconfirmed.

For those looking to spend a memorable weekend, look no further! THE EC organizers have come to the perfect solution for the summer of 2021. EC_SPECIAL will turn Bontida into an innovative, fresh, electronic music hotbed, headlining DJs from Germany, Brasil, Italy, Spain, Sweden, and Canada. Music from trip-hop, drum&base, techno to acid jazz, and the tropical house will sound from 6 stages and make the party impossible to stop.

It will be an intense experience. We will return to life, live music dancing and to feeling great with your friends.

When & Where: 6-15 august, BONTIDA, and CLUJ-NAPOCA.

With more than 400 live shows and 30 different locations, the event is expected to offer you a fully immersive journey.

The lineup is still unspecified, but we are looking forward to seeing what the organizers will soon announce. We can only hope for the same uplifting and euphoric atmosphere as always.
