Margarita Vlasova is a young Russian visual artist based in Samara. Well, without necessarily looking for this, I developed an almost visceral passion for the visual perspectives delivered by Russian photographers. After all, we are dealing with a culture shrouded in a kind of mystery and which has managed throughout history to add another kind of inner turmoil to universal art in all its forms.

Margarita is not far from this spell that overwhelms you and throws you into a world as bright as it seems, as melancholy as it is. The fragile beauty of nature is one of the purest faces with which this impersonal universe is shown to us, a world, an existence in which dreaming is only a prelude to the permanent nightmare.
