The Romanian alternative rock band THE CASE premieres their first-ever fully recorded live concert, shot in their hometown Timisoara at Nemesis Art Club. The four members stunned the audience when they delivered such a heartfelt set filled with some of their newest and greatest songs, including ‘Fever,’ ‘Throne’, ‘After You,’ and ‘Run.’

The performance represents a stunning showcase of the immense talents of Bele, Istodorescu, and the Paros brothers. The live show left a lasting impression, offering an exciting, energetic, and unforgettable experience. The band reckons it “was a great concert. We really enjoyed it because it was in a small to medium-sized venue (for Timișoara) so we could feel the audience very close to us so it was easy to create the vibe and the energy we always love at a concert.”

Each track on their live concert builds and intensifies, creating a hypnotic experience from start to finish. The result is a wonderfully diverse mix of alternative, grunge, garage, and cinematic soundscapes. When it comes to performing live, THE CASE says “each of us has its favorite song to play. A general rule is that new songs tend to be performed with more energy because we favor them more than the old ones. If we have to pick one it will be ‘Run’.

Alfred, Cristian, Adrian, and Mihai’s creative partnership began ten years ago when they discovered a shared passion for music. However, it was when they first started writing songs that their collab truly soared.

On their creative process, the Timisoara-based band told us that “we tried every creative process over the years except locking ourselves in a cabin for a week or two and coming out with an album (we were supposed to do that at some point). It usually involves someone coming up with a riff, a verse, a chorus, or sometimes an entire song and presenting it to the band. After lots of debating and trying different directions, we eventually decide if we keep it or scrap it. Then everyone goes and does his part in the song. It usually takes 3 sessions to 7 or 10.

It’s no wonder fans respond positively to their latest singles. And why not? The lyrics cut deep are totally relatable. As THE CASE explained to us:  “’After you’ is about the struggle that takes place when trying to resuscitate a broken relationship, about trying to reconnect and to find common ground. It also raises the question if that is the right way to go about it or it might just be better to move on and go on separate ways.

‘Fever’ is temporarily set on an evening, at a dinner, when the breakup message is communicated. Although that was supposed to be just a formality it had an unexpected impact. The song focuses on the visual and sentimental scenario that takes place there.

‘Throne’ is about the regret of living a chaotic life with no long-term plans, about the moment of acknowledgment, and about the fear that it might be too late to go back.”

When asked about their upcoming plans, the band says “we are currently putting the finishing touches on two singles that we will be releasing this year. We are seriously considering filming a music video for one of them. As for our live shows, we will announce more in the coming weeks.”
