After twelve years of silence, Chris Pohl has fully reactivated his EBM and industrial-electro project Miss Construction. Known primarily for his work with Blutengel, Pohl returned to this darker, more physical outlet in 2025 with the comeback single ‘Spiel mit mir’, followed by ‘Back Again’ via Out Of Line Music. That renewed momentum now continues with the release of the new single and music video ‘Hate’, out now.

Rather than functioning as a nostalgic revival, Miss Construction’s return is rooted in immediacy and intent. ‘Hate’ moves on pounding rhythms, precise hooks, and controlled aggression, capturing the project’s core identity: accessible industrial built for movement, tension, and release. The track balances classic EBM drive with contemporary production, positioning it naturally within both club culture and digital listening spaces.

Over the past year, earlier Miss Construction tracks such as ‘Hass und Liebe’, ‘Headshot’, and ‘Miss Construction Theme’ have gained renewed visibility across streaming platforms and social media. This resurgence has introduced the project to a younger audience while reconnecting longtime listeners with its direct, high-impact sound. The sustained interest played a key role in Pohl’s decision to commit fully to a new creative phase.

With Miss Construction now operating as an active project once again, Pohl appears focused on consistency rather than isolated releases. New material is being developed with a clear long-term vision, treating the comeback as an ongoing process rather than a temporary return. ‘Hate’ functions as both a statement and a transition point, reinforcing the project’s relevance within the contemporary industrial landscape.

Looking ahead, further releases are already planned for 2026, suggesting that this chapter is only beginning. Sharpened by experience and driven by renewed audience engagement, Miss Construction moves forward with confidence, intensity, and a clear sense of purpose.
