Everything But The Girl will release their new album, “Blue Reservoir”, on February 19, with the first single, ‘Young and Dumb’, already available to stream alongside its official video. The announcement also brings news of additional UK shows for Ben Watt and Tracey Thorn, with tickets for the newly listed dates going on sale October 30.

Shaped by the duo’s long-running residency at London’s MOTH Club, “Blue Reservoir” returns to the musical ideas and influences that marked their earliest work. The album features ten new songs built around vocals, guitars, double bass, drums and percussion, recorded largely live at RAK Studios in July.

The physical release will include black and translucent blue vinyl editions, as well as CD and Blu-ray versions featuring Dolby Atmos mixes. Fans ordering through the official store will also have a chance to receive a signed card, with the first 1,000 orders qualifying for the extra.

The upcoming performances are billed under the names Ben Watt and Tracey Thorn. Their London dates at Union Chapel on November 29 and 30, followed by three consecutive nights at MOTH Club on December 13, 14 and 15, are already sold out.

The newly announced 2027 shows will take the duo back to Union Chapel on May 21 and 22, before stops at St George’s in Bristol on May 25 and Manchester’s Albert Hall on May 26. Tickets for all four dates go on sale October 30.

With “Blue Reservoir”, Everything But The Girl return to a more stripped-back arrangement, placing voices and live instrumentation at the centre of a ten-track release shaped by the setting that has hosted their recent London performances.
