Anton Nabatchikov is a visual artist based in Moscow, Russia. His works intertwine nude art with that dreamy vision specific to Russian photographers. ‘The Swamp’ is his latest series, one that explores the human condition and how our dreams often drown with us.
Although it may seem like a story with an abysmal scenario, so typical of Russian culture, well, the main character, a model with some features of perfect natural beauty, manages to stand on the surface of these metaphorical waters.
As each struggle leaves traces, all these muscles and plant debris on the completely naked body of the character, make you think directly at that moment of birth.
Actually I don’t remember being born, it must have happened during one of my black outs.
