Sir Petrol are sharpening their sound ahead of their long-awaited debut “Evil Design”, out October 17th, 2025, on streaming, vinyl, and CD via the independent label Elefante Rec., with digital distribution by Believe Music Italia. Their second single, ‘Enclosed’, now unveiled, is a daring statement wrapped in a refined yet abrasive sonic shell.
At its core is the unmistakable voice of Sir Petrol’s founder, Rebecca Magri (Upupayāma, Kaptain Preemo, Ayahuasca), whose delivery hovers between spell and proclamation: “What would you say if I declared it all is mine, enclosed in this shrine?” The lyrics do not shy away from confrontation; they are about the urge to take a stand, to claim what is ours even when the world insists on withholding it.
The track is a distilled version of Sir Petrol’s sonic DNA: trip rock collides with psychedelia, electronica and alt-pop melt into one another, while traces of jazz sneak beneath rough edges. The result is a paradoxical blend, aggressive textures counterbalanced by velvety harmonies, that feels both immediate and timeless. It is music designed to provoke, to seduce, and to haunt.
Behind the desk, producer and mixer Gabriel Medina aka The Cosmic Gospel sculpts the sound into something both vast and intimate. The production feels like a living organism, breathing, growling, shimmering, allowing every layer to claim its space without diluting the urgency of the message.

With this second single, Sir Petrol prove they are not simply teasing a debut record but building an atmosphere of necessity. “Evil Design” already positions itself as more than an album: it’s an ecosystem of resistance, an invitation into a world where beauty and aggression coexist, refusing to compromise.
