Scottish Post-Metal Act BENEATH A STEEL SKY Unveils New Single ‣ CVLTARTES

Scottish post-metal sextet Beneath A Steel Sky is thrilled to announce the release of their new single, ‘The Infinite Silence That Follows The Absolute Truth,’ taken from their debut album, “Cleave,” set to drop on January 24th via Ripcord Records.

The band shares their thoughts on the new track: “The song ‘The Infinite Silence That Follows The Absolute Truth’ is intended to be an exercise in tension and release. As a reversal of the song title, it begins with a meditative journey, while the release is designed to break with significant weight and a distinct lack of silence. We aimed for the first part of this song to provide a needed moment of repose in the middle of what is probably the busiest section of the album overall.”

Born out of the bleakness and uncertainty of the Coronavirus lockdown in 2020, Beneath A Steel Sky began as an instrumental project and has since evolved into a full band ensemble. With their sights set on the future, the band is gearing up for the release of “Cleave,” which promises to showcase their growth and unique sound by blending atmospheric elements with heavy riffs.
