Get in here Stays, you’re gonna wet your pants!

Well, I’ll be damned! If this guy thinks that once I finish my Korean lessons, I’ll move on to Mandarin, he might actually be right! You can even use his tracks in your class because he translates his lyrics line by line; that’s how considerate he is! We can’t thank him enough!

Anyway… one of the great things about music is you never know what’s around the next corner or the next click. GiNN 諸葛靖‘s ‘暈 (Dizzy)’ is one of those moments when one click reveals an absolute gem.

And while everyone is being called genre-defying nowadays, trust me, GiNN 諸葛靖 is the real deal. The Chinese American artist bridges the gap between EDM, hip-hop, and deep house, and please don’t mind if I add bedroom music (*coughs), all while offering bass-heavy nightclub music at the very core. Oh, and if you’re into Stray KidsFelix and BTS’s RM deep voices, then you’re here to stay.

I’m happy to report that ‘ (Dizzy)’ rewards multiple listens. Let me begin by stating that I haven’t listened to such an interesting piece of music with such playful, shimmery, and incredible vocals in a long time. Yeah, well, I’m a vocal fan first and foremost, sorry! While I can truly enjoy a great instrumental piece, if the vocals are not absolutely tight, they just kill the vibe for me.

As vibrant as ‘暈 (Dizzy) is, there is a sense of mystery surrounding it. A hypnotic track for all your needs. There are so many things at play on this track, but he blends them in such a way that makes it hard to get enough.

Besides the fact that GiNN 諸葛靖’s whole music is a badass manifesto of limits pushing and bursts in free-speech expression, the boundaries-crushing project is a killer itself.

The rich, encouraging sound, comes together with a heavy dose of original text meant to raise you from the dead. ‘暈 (Dizzy)’ emerges with a vibrant freshness, leaving a complex sweet-sour aftertaste that lingers on the palate. This intriguing flavor profile is largely attributed to the reflective ideas that dance through the narrative, all while a shadowy backstory unfolds, enriching the experience with layers of depth and intrigue.

He told us “I want listeners to feel confident, playful, and open to romantic connection — and not to shy away from a little touch here and there. But at the same time, I want them to respect boundaries and remember that chemistry isn’t a free pass to overstep. ‘暈 (Dizzy)’ is a soundtrack for letting loose but always with intention.”

Once you dive into the world of ‘暈 (Dizzy),’ it’s as if you’ve uncovered a treasure you’ve been searching for all along. The sound envelops you and wraps you in a comforting embrace, and yet, you cannot say “I’m full!” Instead, you shake off the intoxicating high and eagerly explore the depths of his discography. As you journey through the tracks, you stumble upon unexpected gems like ‘Tick Tock’ and ‘陷阱,’ each one hitting you like a wave, like a kick-you-in-the-crotch-spit-on-your-neck, hardcore stuff!

Now, stick with me. Picture a party, where people come and drink and have fun, and maybe get a BJ in the restroom. Now, fast forward to the aftermath of this wild celebration—what a sight to behold! – confetti, sticky floor, disco ball casting colorful lights on some weirdos making out in a corner.

But as the party winds down, you find yourself parched, the last sip of your drink long gone. The bartender has vanished into the chaos, leaving you thirsty and on your own. In a spontaneous moment of creativity (and a touch of mischief), you glance around at the scattered half-finished drinks on various tables.

With a sense of adventure, you decide to gather these leftover drinks, pouring them into a single glass, each addition a reminder of the night’s vibrant energy. You stir it all together, creating a uniquely huge, sweet, and bold cocktail. GiNN 諸葛靖 is that cocktail!

Hats off, GiNN 諸葛靖! Don’t forget about us little guys on your way to the top.
