The new video of Romanian pop band Robin and The Backstabbers is a big slice of good mood. The music video created for the single “Muzică în cântece” (en. Music in Songs) marks the band’s 5th anniversary and it’s a combination of youth, full of life dancing moves, laughters and, frankly, an illustrations of what real love and friendship look like.
Even if the “melodramatic” irony of the contemporary native society represents an important epicentrum in their work, the band is also known for the poetical and optimistical perspective on life itself. The RATB’s new song is just another way of expressing these ideas, only with more spirit and animation.
The “Muzica in cantece” video is produced by LUNO and Vlad Feneșan, and it was filmed at WASP (Working Art Space and Production, Bucharest). It also features few talented young generation Romanian actresses and dancers: Ana Ularu, Diana Cavalliotis, Andreea Vasile, Anastasia Dumitrescu, Olivia Nitu, Alexandra Balasoiu and Andra Semciuc. The song it’s part of Robin and The Backstabbers upcoming album – “Arhanghel’sk” (the 2nd part of Bacovia Overdrive trilogy). The album will be released on May 8th, 2015, at Halele Carol.
