Suzana Plesca is a Bucharest-based photographer whose pictures bring your inner pervert to life.
She studied in Canada at Vancouver Film School and while she can do pretty much any kind of photography (portraiture, commercial, fashion, events), she is obviously attracted to nudes and fetish art. A lot of artworks (if not all of them actually) focus on women’s bodies and their curvy temptatious shapes. The Romanian artist doesn’t quite reveal anything; instead, she inoculates us the idea of “everything” on plain sight. Her eroticism is a voluptuous Suicide Girl-ish one, with smoking pink/turquoise haired models, round tits and asses, gorgeous slutty goddesses and sexual ostentatious innuendos.
Suzana’s technique involves a predilection for black and white photography, clarity and deep darkness. Even with all the apparent casual flavour, her beautifully captured photos deliver powerful messages. For some of her models stripping is more like an avengeful form of protest against sufferance or depression, while for the others, getting naked is a sign of the joyful female “fuck-you” kind of power.
Watch also Suzana’s first video montage created 2 years ago. It’s delicious!
