The tragic events that happened recently in Bucharest determined a group of artists to start an initiative in order to help financially the victims and their families.
More than 36 Romanian illustrators activating by the name of Art for Colectiv explain their motivation on Facebook: “We’re over thirty-six artists who want to turn art in donations for Colectiv. Each of us donated unique artworks, prints and postcards. The costs for these will entirely go to the victims from Colectiv”.
The process is simple. If you want to help, all you have to do is pick your favorite (or favorites) artwork (s), transfer the money in a certain bank account (see here) and finally send a payment confirmation e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org (the e-mail should also include the name of your artwork choice as well with your home address). That’s it!
“You’ll be happy you will have been helped the victims and proud you’re part of a better Romania. Besides, you’ll get some art on your wall, a reminder of what solidarity really is!”
