Brain Records by Alexandra Crisbășan (XLII)

“This is a project representing the fragments of conversations which my brain has recorded, during different encounters which I decided to write down. […] So, this is what “Brain Records” is; the story of human encounter, human communication, socialization. The story of all of them together as a whole. A story told from the subjectivity and logical storytelling ordering process of my brain.

I don’t think this is art, not necessarily, I don’t label it as a possible form of art either. I just think it’s really interesting to document real communication in the era of smartphones.”

Să spargem vene!

10 lei ca să-i găsească vena…
Dark matter, anti matter, doesn’t matter!
For how long did Cain beat his brother?
As long as he was Abel.
I’ve learned to be careful,
Sharp –
Like a thorn and only if you
Do pierce slow, you can feel pleasure
In the inevitable sting
And disorientation,
You see on the offended faces
Of the politically correct puppets!
Ești o operă de artă
Și știi de ce?
Pentru că nimeni nu te-nțelege!
Să fii singura echipă care
Nu are chillout Friday,
E ca și cum toți se urcă în arca lui Noe,
Fără tine.
Cel mai rău ești atunci când
Nu ai de ales decât să fii rău!
Leave my uterus alone!
All it ever did was to serve you!
Bleeds, but that’s not it’s fault!
Vreau să ronțăi ceva bun, dar ce?
Eu mă duc în abis,
După ce fumez cannABIS!
Dumnezeu s-a făcut om pentru că
S-a plictisit și vrea să se regăsească.
Have you ever walked on an invisible road?
I did – in the Mexican jungle,
In the darkness of the night,
I’ve walked on a path invisible to my eyes,
But familiar to my body.
